I’m a freelance culture journalist, telling powerful local stories through the lens of food, music & travel.
I spent a decade working in central London as a journalist, presenter, and producer; running social media accounts and writing for print magazines before moving on to television.
After a stint as Acting Online Travel Editor at Red magazine, I spent five years as Online Editor at Comedy Central UK, and a further two running MTV UK's Movies section & social media channels. I went freelance in 2022, swapping interviews with musicians for rockstar chefs.
In 2024 I’ve worked on travel and sustainability stories across India, Japan, Africa, Europe and the UK. I’ve tracked mountain gorillas in Uganda, found forest elephants in the Congo basin, snowshoed across Hokkaido, and foraged in the Finnish archipelago. I also run and consult for social media accounts in the luxury travel sector.
I document my travels in a monthly print column for The Spectator World, and contribute to Mr & Mrs Smith, ROADBOOK, Globetrender.com, I-Escape, Rough Guides, The Hotel Guru, Flashpack.com, and airline magazines.
My writing has appeared in The Guardian, Stylist, Shortlist, Red magazine, Cosmopolitan.co.uk, and Good Housekeeping.
